1. Step Away From the Tweezers
This one’s kind of a given but so many of us can fall victim to caving in and plucking away to tame our brows before they have a chance to fill out so you can shape them how you like. If you’re a serial plucker, it’s time to break the habit. We understand that no one wants to walk around with unruly brows for weeks on end, but it’s an essential step. If you’re struggling with the appearance, opt for concealer to cover the overgrowth so you can create the illusion of a neater brow.
2. Turn to the Professionals
Wait at least 8 weeks before you even think about picking up a pair of tweezers and if you insist on doing so, tweeze sparingly, avoiding the hairs closer to the brow bone. If you really want a great brow transformation, try to wait 12 weeks after you first start to grow your brows out before booking in with a professional for either wax or thread. If your brows are naturally quite sparse, you might want to try out a tint too for a brow game glow up worthy of Kim Kardashian.
3. Try out a Serum
So you’ve managed to put down the tweezers, but there’s more you can do in a bid for fuller brows. There are a number of growth serums on the market that can work wonders for your brows. Look out for options that contain Prostaglandin (an active lipid compound) these will work best for you.
4. Be patient
It can take up to a year for your brows to look at how you really want them to. It’s often the case that it can take around four to sixth months until the hair starts growing in the right direction, let alone in the areas that are a little sparse.
Finally, once you’ve nailed your brow game - handle them with extreme care. This one kind of goes without saying but we don’t want all your hard work to be for nothing, so once you’ve got that perfect shape, simply maintain and care for them. No more tweeze-happy brow makeovers! Stay fleeky.
