The first rule of Photoshop is that you need to be in control of the narrative. And while there's no doubt that being able to use Photoshop and chop and change a photo is a definite skill, hard work is wasted when you don't communicate with others who have the same photo. And the woman on the left made that rookie mistake when she let the man on the right post on the internet, too.
While she may have gotten away with the Photoshop on the left if he hadn't posted an untouched version to his own Instagram, his choice broke the illusion for both of them.
When You Skip Arm Day
We live in a world where people love going to the gym and posting their progress photos on Instagram, and we love the fact that people are putting their health first. However, it's important to take everything with a pinch of salt, as sometimes what you see on the internet isn't quite as it seems! Take this guy for example. We have no doubts that he works hard at the gym, but he should work a little harder on his Photoshop.
Unfortunately, his arms just don't quite match up in terms of size and muscle! Either that, or he skipped left arm day at the gym for 365 days in a row.
Who Nose?
The modern age is full of amazing technology that makes photography easier than ever, which is a far-cry from the cameras they used to have back in the day. Today, we have crystal-clear lenses on our tiny phones, we have AI technology, and we even have editing tools that allow us to change the slight imperfections we see in our photos. That's why blurry photos like this just don't cut it on Instagram anymore.
The whole idea of Photoshop is to make changes that look incredibly natural without changing too much of the photo. But this woman changed her selfie so much she no longer has a nose.
Keeping up With Khloe
Although there are many people in this world who grow up wanting to be famous, there's no doubt about the fact that being famous in today's day and age would be exhausting. Not only do these celebs have to deal with ever-changing beauty standards, but they also have to deal with constant online criticism and the fact that people look up to them to set these beauty standards. That's a lot of pressure.
Over the years, Khloe Kardashian has been called out for her supposed use of Photoshop on Instagram. And while these two pictures certainly look different, she looks beautiful in both.
And.... Breathe!
Photoshop is a great tool to enhance the natural beauty of your photographs, but it's turned into a tool to completely change the way you look - and it's often very sad to see. This is especially true when you see women like this, who have been taught to believe that their natural bodies aren't good enough. That's why, before posting this photo on Instagram, she decided to edit her whole body.
While this could be the result of a deep breath in and some impressive lighting, it looks more likely that this photo is the result of some poor Photoshop skills.
Pose for the Camera
Shout out to this woman for being open and honest about her cosmetic procedures, as we need more open discussions about cosmetic enhancements! However, what's ironic is the fact that the picture on the left was the photo that she posted on her Instagram, while the photo on the right is what the Botox clinic posted on their Instagram page. So, there are a few irregularities between the two of them.
Either way, this woman is absolutely stunning and is obviously very comfortable in front of the camera. We just wish she was a little more comfortable in her own skin.
Human or Anime?
You've got to hand it to the people in this world who have mastered Photoshop in such a way. This photo editing tool is very complicated, and it can be hard for people to pick up. But when someone can take a photo of a human and edit it so much to the point that the human looks like an anime character, you have to give kudos to their editing skills.
Of course, the end result is far-from-human and the proportions are all off, but maybe that's what he was going for? Let's hope that behind this Photoshop is a guy who loves his real body.
All About Angles
Everyone knows their best angles, right? Maybe you like one side of your face more than the other, maybe you know that your hair needs to be in a certain position to make your face look more angular, or maybe you just know the right poses to hide the stomach you're a little conscious of. Everyone is guilty of using their best angles to get the best photo, and it seems as though this woman is one of them.
However, what's interesting to note is that she looks so much happier in her natural photo, doesn't she? That's very telling in a world where Photoshop is everywhere on social media.

Dating in today's day and age is pretty wild. In a world full of catfishes, you never quite know who you're talking to on the other end of the screen. But one of the best ways to know what a person is really like is to look at their tagged photos on Instagram. After all, these tagged photos will normally show the real person, without the filters or the Photoshop.
Of course, most of us would be lucky to date this woman with or without the Photoshop, but we have to say that we think she looks stunning without the makeup or filters.
Ahead of the Game
We're not human biologists, and we certainly don't know all there is to know about human anatomy, but one thing we do know is that this woman's head has a bad case of Photoshop shrink-itus. But how did this photo come to our attention? Well, someone was checking out the tagged photos of a restaurant and stumbled upon this picture. And we can only assume that this woman enjoyed her experience at the restaurant.
However, we do have to question her Photoshop skills. After all, when your hand is twice the size of your head, you should probably stop trying to make your head look smaller.
The Tell-Tale Signs
There are some amazing Photoshop experts out there, and they would be able to take a picture of anything and turn it into something else without anyone knowing. But then there are others who don't quite know what they're doing - and all of the tell-tale signs are there. One of the biggest signs of a Photoshop fail is a warped background, and this woman certainly seems to have that. Just look at the lines of the chair behind her!
Another sign is unusual body anatomy, and that's also the case here. We're particularly intrigued by her strange ear, and the sheer length of her fingers and her hand as a whole.
Copy and Paste
Everyone takes photographs nowadays. People take photos of their breakfast, they take photos of their desks at work, and they even take photos of their commute home. In fact, no meal out would be complete without taking photos to post to Instagram - and it seems as though these women got that memo. However, if you got home and realized that your friend had Photoshopped you, what would you think?
What's more, the woman who posted this photo Photoshopped it in such a way that made her look identical to her friends. These ladies could be triplets - but we're pretty sure they're not.
Just Having a Brows
If you want to use Photoshop then use Photoshop. There's no crime against editing your photos to make them look how you want them to. But if you're going to edit your photos in such a way, please try and do so in a way that looks anatomically correct. Otherwise, people are going to call you out! And that's exactly what happened when this woman posted this edited photo on Instagram.
It looks like her right eyebrow (the left to us) has an escape plan, and being part of her face isn't part of that plan. So, check your eyebrows next time you edit your photos.
Human Bratz Doll?
Everyone is within their own right to present themselves however they please on the internet. And we can only assume that this woman is very happy with the photos that she's posting on social media and on dating apps. If that's the case, then we're very happy for her! It's important for everyone to feel confident in their own skin, and it seems as though this woman feels most confident with big lips and dark eyes.
However, we do have to question whether it's possible to have such big lips without them exploding - which is why we're beginning to wonder whether there was some Photoshop at play here.
Look at the Bubbles
With her bizarre body proportions and the bubbles in the water just below her feet, it looks as though this woman is deflating! And that probably isn't helping her attempts to become a travel influencer. But aside from that, this woman is doing all of the right things. She's got the angles on point, she's taking photos in a stunning location, and she's chosen a stylish swimsuit for the occasion.
However, all of the people in her comments section just couldn't get over the Photoshopped nature of this Instagram photo. After all, we don't think those proportions are medically possible.
Double Trouble
If you want to get into the Photoshop realm, there are so many cool things you can do with this photo editing tool. You could turn your family Christmas card into a winter wonderland, you could fake a boyfriend to make your ex jealous, or you could edit photos with your twin sister. These two ladies obviously decided to go with the latter option, but didn't realize that a tagged post from the same night would also pop up on their Instagram.
Unfortunately for them, their fans were quick to spot the tagged photo and notice the differences between the one they posted and the one the guy posted. And they weren't too happy about it.
Legs for Days
If you're taller than average, you've probably dreamt of making yourself look shorter in photos. And if you're shorter than average, you've probably dreamt of making yourself look taller! It seems as though we live in a world where everyone wants to change how they look, and that's sad. This woman is one of them, and it seems as though she's used Photoshop to make her legs look longer and her waist look smaller.
All in all, though, this picture is pretty confusing, and we're a little worried about the very little space her organs have to do their thing. So, in a way, we do really hope this is Photoshop!
Time to Swipe
If you've ever used a dating app, you'll know that your success or failure rate is completely dependent on how you look and the pictures that you use. After all, if someone doesn't like the look of you in your photos, they won't be swiping for you. This can put a lot of pressure on people, and many turn to filters and Photoshop to enhance their photos to get to the next stage of the dating process.
And while we have no doubts that this woman is naturally beautiful, it seems as though she felt the need to Photoshop her photos and add all kinds of filters into the mix. The end result certainly stands out.

Have you ever been in a situation where you can't reach something from the top shelf of the grocery store? Well, we have - and we wish this woman was with us while we were there, as she wouldn't have had any problem getting the cereal we wanted! Not only does she look incredibly tall, but she also looks like she has some of the longest arms we've ever seen.

What we love about this picture is that the Photoshop editing has actually been completed to a very high standard! However, it's just a little unbelievable - unless this guy has a world record we're not familiar with.
Feeling Blue?
Big eyelashes are all the rage nowadays, and we certainly don't blame people for wanting to make their eyelashes look bigger. Getting extensions or wearing fake eyelashes makes people feel confident and attractive - and ultimately, that's how we want everyone to feel every single day. But we can't help but notice that this woman looks as though she feels a little blue. And not just because she's wearing a blue sweater.
Of course, we know that people have blue eyes, but we don't think we've ever seen eyes this blue before. Or skin quite that flawless! So, we do have to question whether Photoshop was involved.

Kylie Jenner is one of the most famous people on the planet. Even those who aren't familiar with her work or her show know her name - and they probably know what she looks like, too. But one thing we don't envy about being in the public eye is that everyone is quick to compare how you look on Instagram to how you look in real life. And on many occasions, Kylie has looked very different.
It's no secret that Queen Kylie is a master at makeup and knows all of her best angles to take the best photos. But is there some Photoshop in there, too? We'll let you decide.
Normal Airport Attire
We'll get onto the strange proportions of this woman in a minute, but for now can we please just focus on what this woman is wearing to fly? When most people head to the airport to catch a flight, they were comfortable and baggy clothes so they can feel warm and cosy throughout the journey. But this woman decided to break the mold and wear something a little different for her flight, instead.
All we can think about is how cold she must have been in the cabin, and how uncomfortable it must have been to have been wearing something so tight on those hard chairs. We don't know how she did it!
Spot the Warp
It's often hard to know what's real and what's not when you scroll through Instagram today. But if you're ever wondering whether a picture has been Photoshopped or not, it's always best to look at the background rather than the person in the foreground. Sure, the person and their bodily proportions (especially when they're out of whack) can be a big giveaway, but the background is normally where the edits and changes are most obvious.
In this woman's case, you can look at the handrail behind her! Although handrails you can see that the handrail is supposed to be as straight as a whistle, it's warped and bent on the side where her hips seem to have disappeared.
The Smallest Detail
Beauty trends come and go quicker than you can say 'Botox,' and right now a huge beauty trend is to have a tiny waist and rounder hips. People with these features rack up millions of followers on social media - and this woman is one of them. Every day, fans praise her for her teeny-tiny waist, but she was recently called out when this unretouched photograph from a photoshoot was posted by the photographer on Instagram.
Although it's a tiny detail, the fact that fans could clearly see that her waist had been smaller in the edited photo didn't go down well with fans. Especially as her waist is already so small!
All About Filters
Don't get us wrong; we love a filter sometimes. An Instagram filter can make you look more awake when you feel like a zombie, it can make you look like you have makeup on when you can't be bothered, and it can generally enhance your features. So, we really don't blame people for using filters on their photos. What's difficult, though, is when you become so obsessed with your filter persona that you forget what you look like in real life.
This can also be difficult for people who only know you by your Instagram profile. And when people see this woman's tagged photos, they'll realize that she doesn't always look like her Instagram pictures.
Internal Organs? No Need
In a world where small waists are at the top of the beauty standards scoreboard, it seems as though everyone is doing everything they can to make their waist look smaller and smaller. Looking at this woman, we're really not sure what she's done. Although we immediately suspect Photoshop, there aren't any of the tell-tale Photoshop signs that we can see. So, maybe this is real after all?
Smell That?
Is there anything better than getting dolled up with your bestie and taking some selfies to mark the occasion? No, we thought not. So many friends take photos of their adventures, and they post them to Instagram to update their followers on their shenanigans. And while most people choose not to edit the photos with their friends, there are others who decided to go all out with the Photoshop filters.
There's no doubt that these women look flawless with their pore-less skin and their bright blue eyes, but the filter has worked so hard that it's left them without any noses. You can see a glimpse of a nose bridge there, but it's barely there.
Looking Like a Sims
Hands up if you've ever played The Sims? If you haven't, you're missing out on an incredible game that can take up hours of your time. But those who have played this game will probably recognize this photo, and that's because this woman looks just like one of the Sims we used to make in the game! Sure, she's absolutely stunning and that dress is beautiful, but her face looks like it's straight out of a video game.

For those of you who don't know who this is, this is Katie Price - who used to go by the stage name of 'Jordan.' Popular in the UK, she used to be a model and a singer, but over the past decade or so she's made a name for herself as someone who loves cosmetic surgery. On Instagram, Katie shows off her enhancements and her nips and tucks, but some fans can't help but notice she looks different in real life.
Whenever she's photographed out and about, fans are quick to call out the discrepancies in her Instagram photos and her real look. But Katie never claps back, so she must be happy with her look.
All Kinds of Wrong
Photographers and make up artists really can do wonders, and they should be celebrated for all of the good they can do in certain situations. However, that doesn't mean that they should be congratulated for everything they do. The fact that this photographer chose to lighten this woman's skin, edit out her C-section scar, and change the body shape of the woman is actually very sad. And we hope the woman on the left knows just how beautiful she is.
While we love comic book characters as much as the next person, it's important to understand that people don't look like these comic book characters in real life. Instead, they look like real people!
Time for a Smile
Of course, we know that these two pictures are deceiving. And while we suspect there have been some Photoshop filters at play here, there's also no doubt that these are two very different photographs in terms of lighting and facial expressions. On the left, you have bright lighting, and Paula Abdul isn't smiling. On the right, however, you have softer lighting and a smiling Paula Abdul. And a simple smile can go a long way in changing a photograph.
She certainly looks younger in the photo on the left, but is that all down to Photoshop? Well, we have a feeling that it's a mixture of everything. She still looks stunning for her age.
Walking the Plank
If you've ever been involved in a professional event, you may have been photographed by a professional photographer. And that's pretty cool, right? These people all know the tricks of the trade and can adjust the lighting and the exposure to make photos pop as much as possible. But while most photographers rarely edit the people in the photos, that doesn't stop the people from editing them when they put them on their own Instagram page.
This comparison shows a woman in a professional photo on the left, and on Instagram on the right. Obviously, this woman wasn't too keen on how she looked in real life, so she opted to give herself more of an hourglass figure.

In 2023, Barbie fever took over the whole world. The movie saw more and more people fall back in love with the Barbie doll, and so many people chose to dress up like the doll when they went to watch the film at the movie theater. But have you ever seen someone use Photoshop to make themselves look more like Barbie? Well, we can only assume that's what this woman has done.
From her tiny waist to her thin legs and her exaggerated facial features, this woman looks as though she could be a real Barbie doll. So, we can't help but wonder whether she looks like this in real life or not.

When you were younger, were you ever fooled by the 'got your nose' trick? Your older relatives probably did this to you on a regular basis, trying to make it seem as though they stole your nose and took it for their own. And a trend we're seeing on Instagram at the moment is related to that trick. That's because more and more people are using Photoshop to smooth out their faces so much that they completely lose their noses in the process.
This woman is one of them, and you can barely see her nose on her face. However, we do have to say that she looks incredibly young for being 60 years old.
A Natural Beauty
One thing we struggle with in this world is keeping up with the ever-changing beauty standards. One minute thin eyebrows are in fashion, and the next minute we're being told that our thin eyebrows have been replaced with bushy eyebrows. This often leaves no room for natural beauty, which is why we're sad to see how different this woman looks in real life compared to her Instagram photo. After all, so many people would love those natural freckles!
Yes, we'd do anything to have freckles on our cheeks, and we love the fac that they make her look so unique. But she's covered them all up with the help of Photoshop, and that makes us a little sad.
Is That AI?
Although we used to associate artificial intelligence with aliens, it seems as though we're being exposed to more and more artificial intelligence in the form of photos and online images. In fact, there are so many Instagram profiles out there that are based on AI people! And while we're confident that this guy is a real human being, there's no doubt that his Photoshop skills have made us question that a few times.
From his silky smooth skin texture to those bright white teeth, everything about this guy looks perfect. However, there comes a time when perfect is something too good to be true.
Ear Ear!
At first glance, this looks like some stellar Photoshop skills - and this is what we love to see. This woman hasn't changed her bodily proportions or blurred out her face to change her skin texture, and she still looks like a natural beauty but with a few enhancements. However, look a little closer, and you might spot that something very important was removed during her Photoshop process. Yes, her ear!
Somewhere during this Photoshop process, this woman cut off her ear. However, it's not the most noticeable change compared to some of the others on this list, so we'll let her off this time.
Pocket to Them
We'll get onto this woman and her editing skills in a minute. But for now we'd really like to take a moment to appreciate this woman's pants and how practical they are! After all, women's clothing is notorious for not having enough (if any) pockets, but this lady has four pockets on the front of her pants. Plus, two of them are zipped - and we need to know where she got them from ASAP.
Aside from the pants, this woman also caused a stir when she posted this video on social media. And while she claimed that her waist really was that small, there were others who weren't quite as convinced.
Travel Schmavel
Have you ever looked at a travel influencer's Instagram page and wondered how they have the time and money to travel around the world so much? While there are many legitimate travel influencers who make it work, it seems as though there are others on the internet who use Photoshop to their advantage instead. And this woman, who has over one million followers, simply Photoshops herself into random locations around the world.
Sure, this is cheaper than buying a plane ticket and traveling all the way there, but we can't help but think that this trick is a little sneaky. Plus, it's not fully believable.
